Abstract

Training helps to acquire knowledge, learn skills and improve attitude and work related behavior on current jobs, thereby improving individual as well as organizational performance. Development, on the other hand, prepares an individual for higher responsibilities in future jobs. The difference lies in the timings but for our reference both these words are used as synonyms to each other.
