Abstract

This paper evaluates the compensation policy package of a major foreign bank in Pakistan on the basis of the findings of “ Best Practices†research in the human resource management area. All major organizations, like the bank under study, spend a considerable time while formulating these policies. It is useful to compare these with the Best Compensation Practices recommended by leading HR professionals.
