Dr SHAHID BAQAR SI(M) is a PhD graduate. He did his BE (Avionics) from CAE, NED

University in 1987, MS (Avionics) from CAE, NUST in 2000 and PhD from DCMT,

Cranfield University, UK in 2007. He has a total of 35 years combined experience of

higher education management, teaching, research at various HEIs and also electronics

systems design, development and maintenance for Pakistan Air Force. Well conversant

with HEIs financial regulations, academic statutes and human resource hiring,

development and retention. In 2012, for his meritorious services he was awarded Sitara-

e-Imtiaz (military) and was also awarded President’s Gold Medal for securing 1 st position

in MS.
