KIET is proud to announce a MoU between Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) and the Karachi Institute of Economics & Technology (KIET), formalized on April 21, 2025. Spearheaded by KIET’s Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), this MoU reflects a strong commitment to interdisciplinary growth, academic innovation, and quality-driven collaboration.
This forward-looking alliance brings together DUHS’s expertise in health sciences, management & research with KIET, creating a powerful synergy to address emerging educational and business industry challenges.
Key objectives of the MoU include:
• Interdisciplinary Course Development: Jointly designed and delivered programs integrating business and health sciences.
• Faculty & Student Exchange: Cross-institutional exposure to broaden academic and cultural perspectives.
• Collaborative Research Initiatives: Focused projects addressing real-world issues & challenges through expertise lens.
• Academic Event Co-hosting: Webinars, workshops, and conferences for knowledge sharing and professional development.
The signing ceremony was graced by notable leaders including Prof. Dr. Mohammed Saeed Qureshi (T.I), Vice Chancellor of DUHS, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khalid Khan, President KIET, alongside Prof. Dr. Tariq Jalees, Registrar KIET, Dr. Ashar Afaq, Registrar DUHS, Dr. Shahid Qureshi, Rector, GIFT University, Prof. Dr. Asima Faisal, Director IBHM, Dr. Sufyan Ramish, Program Director IBHM, and Prof. Dr. Sajida Parveen, Director QEC KIET.
